Principal's Message
Dear Parents,
Are you coming to our Writing Fair? It will be held on Monday 14th November from 2:30pm.
The Writing Fair is a chance for students to demonstrate their written work. This year we have had a focus on improving all students' writing skills. We have tracked every student's progress on a Writing Data Wall, so that we can monitor their progress.
We’d love to share the learning the students have done this year. There will also be a ‘Caption This’ competition on the day. We hope you can come to the Writing Fair!
On Monday, we held a special assembly to recognise Evelyn as a student leader. We congratulate Evelyn on this achievement and look forward to her continued leadership within the school.
This term, K - 2 students are learning Dance with Miss G. I’ve attached photos below of their learning in this subject. Dance is a subject that can allow students to move their bodies, role-play and go into a world of their own imagination.
Lastly, I remind you that Friday 18th November is a pupil free day. We are preparing to implement the new K - 2 Mathematics and English curriculum. As such, staff will be engaging in learning for the implementation of this and planning for 2023.
Regards,
Nathan Trezise,
Principal

Today We Noticed....
Recently we've been focusing on the school expectation of being responsible, and we've been on the look-out for students being responsible so we can recognise and highlight their positive contributions to our classrooms and yard. Each of these students has their affirmation written on a slip of paper to bring home - ask them about it!
Congratulations to the following students: Jules, Cormac, Eden, Hayley, Malachi, Aurora, Lakota, Evelyn, Freya, Ruby M, Harry W, Abby T, Makayla & Ryan.
