Principal's Message
Dear Parents,
Today we are sending home student report cards. These reports are a record of student progress this semester. I have been very pleased to read about and view the progress our students have been making this year. Parent teacher interviews will be conducted in Week 2, the week commencing July 19th next term. I strongly encourage all parents to attend an interview with the class teachers as it helps us to strengthen our partnership between home and school. Information about interview times will be sent out on the first day back next term.
Recently we have transitioned to a new website. The address remains the same, a link to our site is below:
https://www.dorplism.catholic.edu.au/
On the home page, the 'Upcoming Events' sections has information that is drawn directly from the school calendar. Similarly, the School Calendar tab populates all of our key dates for Term 3 and beyond. This includes Staff Development Day information, Class Assembly Rosters and other events that are upcoming too. I encourage you to visit this site to keep up to date and able to participate in our community functions.
Finally, I wish you all a safe and happy holiday. Our first day back for students is Tuesday 13th July. Staff are engaging in 'Clarity - A focus on what matters most' Professional Learning on the Monday of that week. This information is on our website.
Regards,
Nathan Trezise
